Greta Thunberg, a climate change activist learned to deliver the snark at 2021. She was particularly adept when she had to confront criticism and attack her foes.
While she became less active on Twitter in the second quarter of 2018, it gave us an inside look into her life. These are her most popular tweets.
1. Going after Donald Trump
Thunberg began the year by making a joke about Trump’s departure, and using humor that is both cheeky and sardonic.
2. Commenting on news
Thunberg loves to make fun of news. She realized this was an opportunity for her to attract a new audience after she saw a Sky News report.
3. There is more change than there are words
Thunberg sparked controversy when she posted another tweet about policy changes. They took issue with how the pundit talks a lot about climate change…without acting.
4. Fight the trolls
Thunberg also tweeted early this year. She reacted to her critics, who believe she’s a puppet of climate change activists with a joke.
5. There are no silver bullets
Thunberg also used some snark in a tweet about a “magic wand” to alleviate problems. Thunberg argued that quick fixes were unfair and undemocratic.
